Hi guys,

Just pulled apart the rear linkages on my 2010 Demo 8 to clean the bearings etc. and now I'm having trouble re mounting the shock.

I don't seem to be able to get the spacers to fit in the lower shock eyelet at all. is there any trick to this or do I just have to use a bit of gentle persuasion (force it)?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If it's anything like the old ones, you have to keep the spacers in place with a light dab of grease, then slide the shock in. You can't put the shock+spacers in, as the spacers sit in a slightly recessed surface. YMMV as this was for 05-06 bikes.
