I have a SRS (ISCG05) guide, with the adapter to sandwhich it between the BB and the frame. So I know that is the only way it will mount.
The frame came with the BB (83x128) and it had one thick spacer, and one paper thin one installed on the drive side. I know stock the bike came with a dual ring setup. I'm just using one ring.
I'm just wondering, can I use the adapter that goes with the guide as the spacer since it spaces things out, and ditch the spacers that came with it? I'm sure I might need to "fine tune" the guide with the little washers and such, which isn't a big deal but I'd like to know if I have to use all these spacers + the adapter etc...
Any help/hints/ideas would be greatly appreciated!
