Hey guys i'm trying to install a G2 guide i bought from a buddy for 50$.. it's a iscg 05 g2 guide. It comes with the adapter plate for a bb..

i'm having trouble with the crank arms rubbing on the boomerang plate of the guide..
what is going on here?

I know the E13 adapter plates can be flipped around to gain more clearance in some applications. Can you do this with your adapter? If not, you could get an E13 adapter and run it instead, I think they're cheap.

It is a e13 adapter... I don't think i can flip it. the ISCG mounting tabs on my frame will get in the way

So the G2 doesn't fit your old tabs then? I'm sort of ignorant when it comes to what standard each frame is using and what is compatible with what. I don't have much help I guess, you might be stuck flipping the adapter and grinding out room for the old tabs, or grinding off the old tabs (I wouldn't do that though).

well I got it.. with some spacer magic lol. It doesn't rub on the guide in my highest or lowest gear.. success!
