why don't you throw in the honda bike for fun :D ? nothing is more entertaining than a comparison of bikes that no one outside of the fanboy club has ridden yet

but transcend claims that honda will sell a dumbed down (internal derailleur) version of it in the near future

Only if you hold it between your knees and twist it like a Shiver ;)
Ive done this and by using the shiver standard of flexiness rating calibration techneque ive determined that the honda bike is 1.98874^2% more flexy than an M3 which makes it not flexy because an M3 is intense, isnt it

what a dumb question, IH Sunday vs. Ditka is way more appropriate...

Hmm, if weagle was arguing for the sunday I think it would win because Ditka would stand there and say "Da Bears" then Dave would go off on how the DW link axlepath is superior................ Ditka would run away so his head wouldnt explode :p

We don't have any M3's but I could gather up some various frames at work and either smash them together two at a time or toss them off the roof and calculate their effectiveness on the sidewalk. :D :thumb:

The M3 is at least 3 times more solid than an M1, but the Sunday is green like a tree, and trees are VERY solid.

How about this... send me one of each and I'll test them for you.

that way we as consumers can make better purchasing decision

:help: ;)

Tough call to make. I mean, more people have probably test ridden Sundays than M3s because the bike has been ridden/ tested for over a year now, but that number still isnt a lot of people. Sunday is a real deal DH race bike, so is and M3. Sundays got 8" of travel, M3 has more. I dont know if that helps. Trying to think of some common ground to help compare.

Um, good effort Dave!

Here's how I see it, based on my engineering expertise, all of my ride time on these bikes (none), and all of the ride time of the other monkeys (slightly more, but still, basically none):

The Sunday has 8" of flex, which is way flexy, which is bad, but the M3 has more flex, which means it's way waay flexy, which is badder.

So the Sunday wins!! Yay!!

Haven't ridden a Sunday yet, but we've built 4 M3's and they easily get into the sub 43lb range. They pedal amazingly well. The DHX is supa butta on that bike, the thing has no bottom. Every bit of feedback has been totally positive. Of course, its an Intense, so I expected nothing less than stellar performance.

I would love to try out a Sunday. All the DW link bikes I've played with pedal really, really good. I'm sure the Sunday is similar in its great acceleration.

Hope this helps.
