I am thinking about buying a intense socom but there is a problem. The socom I am looking at has a 135mm dropout, but I need a 150mm. So I was wondering if anybody had a 150mm droput they wanted to sell or trade for a 135mm.

Intense usually has the drop outs readily available. Why not spend the $150 for the desired spacing, and keep the 135s as a back up to use with the wheel off your DS/4X bike in a pinch?

I would but at a online dealer they were $275. Thats a lot more than I want to spend right now.

Gotta pay to play. Especially when you're dealing with a 2500+ frame.

My question is... Do you feel the Difference between the 135mm width and the 150mm Width? My First Dh bike was a 135mm Width and the next a 150mm width as is the bike I have now. I couldn't tell a noticeable difference that I can remember.

Im running the 150 and it feels pretty good.

The Socom is a flexy bike and I would think the 150 would help a little but I havent ever ridden the 135. Im just guessing.

I'm guessing he wants to use his old wheelset.
