yo, can you stop linking to these? I can't see anything, and even when I click the link nothing happens.

 That is strange. I can see the pictures fine and can use the link to view them without any problems. Maybe it is something with your computer?

The pics and links even work for me in the post of you quoting me.

yeah, it's because you've already seen them. When you surf through mtbr it stores them, so it shows up on your computer. I don't know why the links don't work, I think you need to link to the page the image is on, and not the image itself.

I am not having the same problem you guys are. There must be something set differently in your computer. What browsers are you guys using?

I clear my Temporary Internet Files every time I close Internet Explorer.

There must be something wrong with your settings. Knuckle posted a picture back a few pages of the SE cruiser which I had not viewed at MTBR before he posted it. The image shows up fine.

Everyone says you can't link to Pinkbike, right? There is another forum I belong to where people use the tags to post Pinkbike pictures. I can view these without any problems.

Anyways, future posts I will use a few diffrent ways to linking the pictures. :redX: ;)

Is that a "new" tubeless rim on those D-max wheels?

Damn! I can't wait to know the weight, travel and price of this frame. Looks really nice...

its 8" with a 2,75" stroke shock.

weight should be light and price is a lot lower than the current pdc bike

its a joint (can i say that) 4x/dh platform, much like a karp but with the shock fixed to the lower linkage.

its got a normal bb this time around.

nice dropouts there too

Nice little rig. Curious to $ and geo/specs as well. Looks like a nice clean design.

you mean you just have to change shock and fork to make this a 4x bike?

pretty much, there seems to be a little shock anchoring gizmo there too that gets changed out.

but yea, swap the shock and fork and you gots a 4x bike.

not all that new though because you can do that with a disco volante too, swap or flip a link and shock and you get an impressive 4x bike.

I got yesterday '05 Deemax wheels and UST Maxxis tyres. The new rims looks much better compared to old D3.1s. Groove is gone and rim profile is more square

okay the rims on the new Dee Max wheelset look better - but is there a standalone rim?

I haven't heard anything official about standalone rims. I tried to get yellow 32H Deemax rims but they are not available...pros only

Did Mavic come up with any other new products? Many factory-built bikes have a rim called EX325 in the specs. I saw it on the pictures of some complete bikes at Interbike, but did they have any info about it or a separate rim in their booth?

Are there any other new rim-models for 2005 except for the complete Deemax wheels and the EX325 rims?

Yeah i 've seen them once, last year at a bikeshow. Pretty strange and avantgardish. A monoque alu frame, two plates pressed together. I don;t think there is a big market for it. I think no one wants to be seen on such a bike. Imo it is a bike for yuppies, who are trying to be trendy.

If that's true, I don't get it what Mavic is thinking. The new rims are so much stronger. My friend has been running new yellow rims all summer and no flat spots so far (couple world cups, Worlds etc.) He uses 20-23 psi with 2.5 Michies

don't think so

on eurobike they had the new rims on display as deemax wheels and "stand alone" rim.
oh sweet...that it reassuring then! That is pretty much what I figured since Mavic has been telling my bike shop that they've been waiting the new rims to come out before sending me new ones..

There are a couple cool things about the new Foes Fly frame that weren't mentioned. They really wanted to integrate a more continuous seat tube for greater seat height adjustability. So that is the reason for the major design change. Also, the old frame was a lot more costly to make, and time consuming to make. The price of the new frame is going to go down because of this. And, the frame is 2 pounds lighter. I'm stoked and can't wait to get one. They also introduced and new stock color. It's a really nice metallic silver. The Foes line looks good!!
