Nice clean steel hardtail. I love steel hardtails for what they are -I have one- but I have been riding/racing full suspension since 94 and have never had a rear shock fail on a ride or complteky fail at all. Granted I maintain my bikes. Ride a hardtail if you love it, but these days a failing shock is a flimsy justification.
