shut the stupid thing in my car door and now it works fine I just can't see the screen. Thank god for random play

it's not hard to change the screen it's just hard to find one for a 4G and they are like $150

My Ipod fell out of my pocket while riding to class the other day as well. I had no idea there was a mechanics service to fix the screens.

Like he said above, Has anyone used that service? It seems kind of pricey to fix a screen, but I don't know much about LCD screens. I wonder if the home mechanic could do a screen replacement at a cheaper price?

Sucks about the iPod. They're pretty tough little thing. I drop mine fairly regularly and it's still going. There's some tar embedded into the corners from hitting my driveway so many times.
