The foamies on the Shure are my fave. Super comfy, and block out almost all noise just like a set of earplugs.Looking for a new set of earbuds - like to spend about $50-$75.

The cords are effing great! They sound awesome and are only $45. Great productsiege audio
yes, yes they areskullcandy are awful mate no offence, just overpriced shiny ****, like beats by dre.
for $30 you cant find a better inner ear headphone for the money. this is what i use for ridingI just snagged a set of JVC air cushion ear buds. The sound is impressive. We'll see how they do riding.
Bought a pair of "smokin' buds" on that logic. They sound alright. I had them two days before I ripped the wiring loose from the jack, while riding. I've has similar mishaps with other earbuds without the catastrophic results.I am a fan of the nicer Skullcandy buds... designed for actions sports usage.
They do work well except the cords suck. Mine lasted about a month. They were cheap and when folks noticed me wearing them they knew I couldn't hear them and would walk away. With The Bose ones I have now. Folks know I can hear them so they talk to me regardless if I can hear them or not. My next purchase will be a set of Sennheiser CX 300's as they sound awesome, are inexpensive, and seem durable. The Toshiba rep gave me a set of Phillips Model# SHE9550/27 HP ear buds. They list for like $30 and sounded pretty good for the $$. I like the little case that they came with... I keep them as backups...Love my Shure SC110s or whatever the 100 model is. They sound great, come with a nice case, and come with adjustable/interchangeable "foams" so you can choose silicon or foam, S/M/L. They are also built superbly and I have no fear of them getting destroyed. I've been using them daily since two X-mas's ago, and the cord is just starting to fall apart at the junction to the player. That's my only complaint- I wish the jack were 90* instead of straight....I fold it immediately over the player and that's why it failed.
Otherwise these things have been perfect.
whoa...the shure's cords are 3mil thick, and 2mil for each individual earbud. Not what I would call cheap at all. in fact, it gets to be a PITA because the cord gets so stiff in the winter time. The good part is that it has a junction at the Y so I can replace it with a shorter cord (which I plan to do) which is 90 degrees and 2ft long. They do work well except the cords suck. BTW, I bought two sets of Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Bud 11mm Headphones from brociety.com. Half price, and it is the first earbud I can hear under my motorcycle helmet.
I'll send you the broken ones and you can fix them.... The Bose units seemed cheap and have lasted 6 months... I hate long cords.whoa...the shure's cords are 3mil thick, and 2mil for each individual earbud. On that note, one of the reasons I returned the bose units I was given for the shures was because people complained about flimsy cords on the bose phones, on top of the crappy earpieces. Indeed, they feel cheap and the shures are anything but.
Buy a bunch of little steel ball bearings to hurl at those fvckers. What earbuds work the best for joggers and slow mountain bikers to hear me yelling at them to get the hell out of the middle of the trail?
When my loud hub or my fake throat clearing does not work, I know I have an ipod user on my hands.
It really is annoying but quite amusing to try to get around a jogger who is plugged in. No matter how easy you pull up beside them, 1 out of 3 will shart.
$150 is to expensive for IPOD headphones IMO, now if your into it and want some studio phones to listen around the house that makes sense, but for where I use my IPOD to expensive.. obviously, if you got mad coin go for it.
I just ponied up $20 for a pair. I'd better not be disappointed.<snip>

Dude you ain't kidding. I don't hear well to begin with and I could hear that thing with a full face on and at speed on loose rocks. You must really scare the crap out of the Eddie Bauer soccer moms. What earbuds work the best for joggers and slow mountain bikers to hear me yelling at them to get the hell out of the middle of the trail?
