Front Range, dude...
Okay...I still have an iPod. It has a metric shit ton of music on it. Some of which, somehow is not reflected on my iTunes on the computer, possibly because I am on the 3d laptop since I started using iTunes?

So anyway, I want to keep all these tunes when iTunes goes away...how do I go about this in a quasi legal fashion? Wife says to simply re-buy the stuff I want, but a lot of it is rare and cant be re-purchased.

Is there a way to clone an iPod to Apples own damn system? I have already reached the end of my attention span (*seconds or so...) on their help sites. Its not like surfing porn or anything fun like that...

when you hook up an ipod to a computer with itunes that it hasn't been synched to yet and it asks if you want to synch it to that computer, you answer it no and after that you should be able to find it like a external harddrive and copy it. or hook it up to itunes and then in options, switch on "enable disc use" and you can find it like an external that way too..
