 I have a set of irc trailbears 2.35 for rear and 2.5 for front. I love the tread pattern and grip but a little concerned with reliability.
I'll be running stans.
My other choice is maxxis minion's 2.35 40d slow reezay's single ply.
Essentially wouldn't a single ply minion be approx. the same as a trailbear for reliability.

either should be ok, but I haven't heard anyone using IRC tires for tubeless. I would try it, but inspect the sidewalls, make sure they don't have too many holes etc.

I didn't like them tubeless. Liked them a bunch for rocky XC with tubes. Madbob has a set of mine and likes them tons.

I bought a pair that said they were 2.25. They were in the box so I couldn't tell real width. They were actually about a 2.0 and sketchy as hell. No sidewall strength to speak of. Ended up on the basement floor after 1 ride.
That's my $.02
