so tell me, how is IH customer service?

and riddle me this - if the shop i work for doesn't carry a particular brand of bicycle, think i'd still be able to get one from the manufacturer? i'll find out tomorrow, i'm just curious right now.

Second thing, I'm not sure. Shop I ride for has a couple IHs that they were building up for their something rep who was also a rep for IH. Sadly, they won't carry IH...

Customer service over at IH is pretty damn good! Just search "30 days later and I broke it" for an example. And worse comes to worst just PM DW or Ska Todd, and I forget who else from IH posts here.

As for getting the bike, they will likley have an EP price for non dealer shop employees(usually 5-10% above wholesale). This usually requires a pay stub and your bosses sig. Your boss however may not be to keen to have his guys riding brands that they don't sell. Also if your shop is freindly with other shops in the area that do carry IH it mite be worth your while to see what they can do for you.
