I'm getting a hardtail made around a Pinion gearbox. Due to Pinions broad range of gears, this bike will be my long ride bike(talking hours not days), but still want to do all the other thing you do on a hardtail. So not knowing how tall the tires are, I'm wondering if they're pretty close to my 26" DH tires circumference anyway. Can anyone rocking a 2.1-2.3 650b tyre please measure the height. Guessing a 2.1 26"er will be closer, but doubting there'll be much in it.

A wheel with a 650b Hans Dampf 2.35" mounted on a WTB i23 is close to 28" in overall height.

A 50-55mm wide 650b tire will be between 690-700mm in diameter.

I've spent about 5 years on 650b wheels now. You'll have lots of fun.
