Don't you give facts per The Book! The interpretation of The Book is a right provided by my religion and the Constitution. Which was written by Jesus.
One must also remember that the bible is a random assembly of documents chosen by the Vatican, by men who were inspired by god, while they weren't busy torturing heretics.

and justifying slavery!

"Pope Nicholas V issued the papal bull Dum Diversas on 18 June, 1452. It authorised Alfonso V of Portugal to reduce any “Saracens (Muslims) and pagans and any other unbelievers” to perpetual slavery. This facilitated the Portuguese slave trade from West Africa.

The same pope wrote the bull Romanus Pontifex on January 5, 1455 to the same Alfonso. As a follow-up to the Dum diversas, it extended to the Catholic nations of Europe dominion over discovered lands during the Age of Discovery. Along with sanctifying the seizure of non-Christian lands, it encouraged the enslavement of native, non-Christian peoples in Africa and the New World."

Just as the authors, and compilers of the bible, the Pope speaks the word of gog. God is down with the slavery, or was, he seems to have changed his mind if you listen to the new pope. They clearly speak the word of god because as we have seen, interpretation is not allowed.

Seems like Canada is now moving in the right direction.
It'll be interesting to see how the economy does in light of the "but Harper kept the economy stable despite being an asshole" commentary.

Dunno but general rule of thumb with our governments down here is that the economy always does better the more liberal/socialist the government, and allways goes into a nose dive after 1-2 years under a conservative government.

We generally try to invade at east one Middle East country every 4 years, then the economy tanks for some reason...

Paris. What.
You know when an old person goes onto blithering, racist, xenophobic, rambles? Yeah. You're there. Give us a logic for your position, that doesn't involve Fox opinion, and we'll have a good ideological debte with you. You seem like the guy that comes into a debate yelling louder everytime your argument fails. As if louder makes your argument better.

So how about this?:

When Did America Give Up on the Idea of America?

"The distinctive national mood today is a combination of anxiety and wrath — a blind wish to strike out at all the enemies that have laid American low. That’s why the emotional high point of so many of Trump’s rallies involves turning on a reporter, or a protestor, in the midst of the crowd; heckling him, giving him the bum’s rush, sometimes even manhandling him. Trump encourages his followers to find a scapegoat for their fear, an outlet for their anger; they eagerly accept the invitation."

There are no words:

US town rejects solar panels amid fears they 'suck up all the energy from the sun'

A retired science teacher said she was concerned the panels would prevent plants in the area from growing.
Boy, and I thought Colorado Springs was dumb. I'm quite happy with my little portion of the community solar garden.

Tangentially related: I had a speech professor in College named Ms. Mann, who used to be Mr. Mann. Was actually a really interesting class once you got past the fact that Ms. Mann clearly wasn't.
