How is the color calibration of your monitor affecting this test? Would you get a different result if you used a different screen? Phone vs. laptop vs. tablet vs. external 4k monitor?

My turquoise isn't green. My turquoise is turquoise I just never got a turquoise option.

I do not live in a black/white or blue/green world.

Language and culture determine how we perceive colors. In Russia there are many shades of pink that we would just call “pink”, but with specific names for all the shades, anyone that has grown up there can immediately call them out.

We had a talk on this by a Dr at our “Science Pub” a few years ago

Coworker sent me this, as a visual design nerd I found it super interesting.

My wife took the test as well, she came in at 171 which is a bit greener than my 175. By itself I say blue, but when looking at the graph above... well ya, it looks more green. :disgust:

I remember seeing something about an African or SA tribe that sees the same in greens. What look to us as all the same shade are radically different for them.

Your boundary is at hue 174, just like the population median. You're a true neutral
Which is interesting, since I have some red/green colorblindness. Most males do, but it's enough to show up on tests, but not enough that I can't discern them next to each other.

14/14, but sometimes I can't see some of the numbers on Ishihara tests. I can often "trace" them with my finger and figure them out that way, but usually not with 14/14 accuracy, there's still 1 or 2 I can't figure, even though I can see different colors.

Your boundary is at hue 178, bluer than 80% of the population. For you, turquoise is green.

Some those were neither blue nor green but I had to pick one. Might as well ask me if it's black or white and then throw a grey up there.
