I've just built my first system and have a problem.
I've put a i5 cpu in a asus P7P55D mobo, fired it up and getting a continuous red cpu light on mobo and nothing else. The red light stays on, the mobo does no self tests and no beeps.
I've reinstalled cpu 3 times and it's still the same. Not even getting far enough for monitor to come on.
I know the red light points to a cpu problem, but before sending cpu back to e buyer, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this mobo or have any ideas as to what the problem may be?
