I'm not a linux user at all, other than messing around with a Knoppix Live CD that is. I understand that there are programs you can get that will emulate the windows OS which will allow windows apps to run without Windows. Getting it all to work depends on how much you know about linux, I guess it's not too difficult to the linux geek, but to the layman like myself it's not worth the hassle. Since Windows 95 came out I've mostly forgotten what command prompt stuff is for, sure I know a few like ipconfig, but for the most part I'm a GUI guy.
