I've heard that insurgents in Iraq are using them as IEDs.

    Uhm, ew.

There's another company that makes armored laptops (which is probably what these are plus licensing fee) that are cheaper/faster.

It's actually funnier when it's not explicitly explained. ;)

Isn't there a Hummer mountainbike too? I mean, if you have the Hummer, the laptop - you gotta have the bike too.

You can fold it up, so it fits in your Prada bag.

    Clockspeed doesn't necessarily mean performance...

Instead of just saying "Uhm, ew," can you please explain why you don't like the MUCH less power consuming, equally performing processor with it's 2GB of cache, whose architecture Intel has gone back to after essentially abandoning the PIV design?

I have performance burns backing this up, but here is a general link that isn't proprietary: http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/01/22/143256&tid=118&tid=218&tid=137

Curious, that's all. I would personally rather have a 2.0GHz+ Pentium M in there, but the 1.86Ghz is still plenty fast for almost all gaming and intensive applications.
