So, after being eviscerated for 45 minutes on national TV, the Republicans come up with this.

Romney spokesman Ryan Williams said:
President Clinton drew a stark contrast between himself and President Obama tonight. Bill Clinton worked with Republicans, balanced the budget, and after four years he could say you were better off. Barack Obama hasn’t worked across the aisle – he’s barely worked with other Democrats – and has the worst economic record of any president in modern history. President Clinton’s speech brought the disappointment and failure of President Obama’s time in office clearly into focus.
I'm surprised the didn't just go with "Nuh uh!" or "I know you are but what am I?" Is it just me or are Republicans getting worse at this stuff?

is there anything untruthful, irrelevant, or out-of-context in that statement?

make sure you address the supposed 4.5m jobs created, 42 consecutive months above 8%, & the US debt now above $16,000,000,000,000

republicans want clintonian economic policies bad enough to cut in the warbl-garbl rope line

My statement is 100% truthful. Much in the same what Al Franken's statement that Rush Limbaugh is a big, fat idiot is truthful. Don't make Dante post the debt chart again. I know that you know where the debt comes from.

it came from bush & his cronies, obviously

and it continues to build, due exclusively to republican procedural tactics in congress.

The Republitards marked Obama as a failure before he even took office and refused to work with him. Now it's election time and they saying he hasn't done anything. The GOP is willing to do whatever it takes to win, even at the expense of the people they were elected to represent. It's what they do.

They want to reinstate Clintonian tax increases and military spending cuts to balance the budget? Where do I sign up?

don't phrase it like that; stay higher level, don't wear bright colors, and keep your hands down when you explain it

Clearly this is a job killer in the short run. The revenues forecast for this budget will not materialize; the costs of this budget will be greater than what is forecast. The deficit will be worse, and it is not a good omen for the American economy.
I'm pretty sure Republicans don't even need to say anything new about a tax increase, we can just go back and parrot all the lame stuff they predicted back in 1993....
