they probably say there's something different but I've been using drug-store stuff in mine for 3-4 years with no problems. Just don't get anything that's got fragrance in it, contaminants like that'll lower the boiling point...

When I worked at a bike shop, we bought the stuff at the drug store for doing maguras.
It worked just fine
