Is there anywhere that sells individual shifters? I just smashed my front shifter in a crash yesterday and I'll be needing a new one. I don't need a rear because I've got two of them, I only need a front but I couldn't find any place online that would sell shifters individually. Is this something I'll have to get through my LBS for the same price as I'd get both shifters for online?

I'd consider buying Sram X7 shifters and just using the front for now and in a couple months get a new sram rear derailur to go with the rear shifter, has anybody else mixed and matched sram w/ shimano shifters? Is it wierd because the paddles are different shapes and move in a different way?

Hmm, I'd be willing to pay $25 or so for a sram shifter. I'd almost rather get a shimano replacement though or just get the SRAM set so then I won't have an extra shifter lying around if/when I make the switch to SRAM on the right side. I guess it doesn't really matter in the end I'm going to have parts left over if I switch to sram anyway, I might as well have a shifter that is the same rather than mixing and matching. PM me if you think my offer sounds fair and we'll work something out.

Bikeman.com has them individually. Also I believe Cambriabike does...check the hot deals section.
