Need information from anyone who may have dealt with this from someone in Austrailia.
I posted my bike and this message came almost immediately:

so the guy is sending you a check? this came up on Mojo recently. apparently there's a new scam where the check will bounce, and you will get screwed. smells fishy to me.

Seriously - I've never, ever heard someone say, "Is this a scam?" when it was actually legit. But that particular one is definitly a scam anyway.

i was about to ask whether or not a particular auction was a scam. i was a little worried, after i had won the auction of course. the guy has been keeping in touch, though, so hopefully i will have a new roadie frame next week.

No, accept ONLY a western union cash wire if/when dealing overseas, IMHO. Once Western Union has handed you cash money, mail the item. Period.
