I just got Mavic Crossrocs and hutchinson mosquitos last night, fully pumped up. So i get up this morning, look at the front tire, and it's flat. I pumped it up again and it's holding air. Ive heard of tubeless tires losing air overnight, but is going to about 0-2 psi normal?

You obviously do not know how to mount them right.

1. put the tire on it helps to use soapy water
2. use a cloth sucked in soapy water the best is "bike wash" from pedros and make sure the tire and rim joint is wet.
3. Pump them up and keep pumping till all of the bead is has popped into place you'll here it pop in place and look with your eyes to make sure it is equaly in place all around the rim.
4. Keep the tire pumped to it's max PSI overnight so it seal together than you can take out air for the right psi.

My shop showed me how to mount them but than again they've been using UST since the beggining.
You're shop is stupid mount them like i tell you.
I do it that way and i still haven't lost 1 PSI. I think i've had them near 2 weaks now.

the key to putting thsoe tires on is not using a tire lever and setting the bead in properly. if they used a tire lever you are going to have alllllll sorts of problems. the problme is it destroys parts of the bead and once that happens your seal is gone. the other part to this like i said is setting the bead in properly. i didn't have to use soapy water, heard a lot of ppl say it helps set it better but i didn't have any problems w/ it dry. once you have the tire in the rim, you kinda have to push the bead towards the center of the rim and let it come back out, thennnn pump up the tire till it's got an ass load of air, make sure that you check the max psi on em b/c they can't hold to much. let it sit for a while, not necessarly over night, maybe like 2-4 hours, then let out the air to the desired psi. and you are set.

It could be a several things. The most obvious is a puncture. Pump the tire up and listen for air leaking out. It's easier if you just spray the tire with soapy water. Air leaks will create nice bubbles. If its a puncture, patch the inside like a tube but maybe rough up more than normal.

It may be the valve or how its mounted. Maybe remove and reinstall to make sure its seated well and the o-ring is there too. The bead is the last thing I'd check. You do not have to get that fancy with mounting. Soapy water helps as does pushing the bead into the well all the way around. Over inflate to seat the bead. you will probably hear it pop a few times. There is a line molded into the tire side just above the bead. That line should be equidistant all the way round on both sides. Once its set there, air down to ride level and your good to go. Absolutely no need to leave it overnight with high pressure. Nothing will happen overnight, its either seated or its not.

I've been running two sets of UST wheels all year, mine and the wifes. The don't loose air any more than regular tubes and tires. I air up maybe once every week or two. I've had two flats in all that time. One was a huge tear that would have junked any XC weight tire. The other I patched with a regular patch kit and is holding just fine thanks.

It's just a matter of getting the bead in the right place did you use soap? It's best to use soap cause i think it also kinda sticks to the bead an rim.
