I agree with all of the rain comments. Up to 2" in the forecast over the next 24 hours. BRING IT.

I ran five miles this morning and it was a pretty lousy run as these things go. And I had to poop the entire time.

Here.

Packing to leave Thursday. Gotta make a supply run and rotate the tires on the truck.

Supposed to get rain, so that'll be interesting.

present. rain in the forecast.

i should make some soup. need to find out what kinds the kids like.
They into soups or chowders? I made a delicious corn chowder the other day. Corn, bacon, potato, and cheese.

Don't you runner types just let it go and shake it out of your short shorts mid-stride?

Drank some wine with dinner last night and feel like I got hit by a car this morning.
I basically stopped drinking after I went onto my diet, so drinking is a rarity for me. I drank some okay wine a few days ago with dinner and felt like shit the following morning. I drank a bottle of good cab 2 nights ago and woke up feeling fine yesterday. I think the extra $10 a bottle makes that alone worth it.

Decided last night to check what we're paying for cable vs. a Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, internet only package. It's ~$75 less per month. I might be able to get Wifey on board finally since she'll be able to get even more shows and all of her other shows too. At $915 less per year, it's really hard for her to challenge that savings.

You can get an antenna and should receive most of the major networks for free. Thats what I had in Westminster and got ABC, NBC, Fox. Never really missed not having cable.

where ya headed @Adventurous ?

we haven't ever had anything more than basic cable and a basic netflix membership. dropped even the basic cable a while back. only thing i ever would have wanted was espn to watch a few college hoops games. it's cool to have a tv connected to the innerwebs though.

i did not have wine last night, but those coffee porters sure were delicious.

s'posed to rain a bit here today, then cool off for awesome fall temps (70s/50s). i'm cool with that

coffee on the porch, then i guess it's time to fire up the laptop.

But Bravo! I know the options and what to do. It's getting her on board.

What is that?

I had the pleasure of receiving this email from some geezer after I emailed their list that some other Clarks don’t know their email address. Recall that the error was on their part.

“I certainly will remove you. So fucking sorry for the mistake . I hope it didn’t ruin your low life lifestyle. I’m not used to dealing with P O Shit people. Maybe you can give me some hints as you seem to be low class.

Too much effort. I did forward the email to the whole group, though.

Just cleaned out 20 years worth of crap from my office and an adjacent one. We filled a large e-waste and paper waste tote.

And there is still one more office and a whole bunch of paper to recycle.

I can't even explain why some of this stuff would be kept. And empty boxes. Why??
