ISCG03 Chain Guides?

Thanks again for all the help. I should have let this one die and slip away, but...
In the parts box, I found a cheapass ebay Chinese ISCG03 top-only chainguide I forgot I'd had on my old Turner for a little while, so I put that on the XC bike. Not what I wanted but it's in-hand and seems to work fine. If it dies, I'll get a BB mount MRP or whatever.
And my BB-mount MRP G2 merely needs a new top plastic if I want to keep using it, so I'll just go to a 32t front ring vice the 30t I wanted on it (36t on there now) and continue to use it...found a used BB-mount MRP top-only guide for $20 which looks like I can steal the plastic to use, and if not, I can just swap out the guides and add a bashplate.
I mean, maybe I can even get away with a 30t and still have sufficient chain retention. Worth a shot.
