91 out with a 10mph tail wind heading out and more of a cross wind heading back. Put in a really pleasant 20 miles at an easy pace 1hr 12 minutes never let my HR go above 158. It was a very good way to spend my first afternoon off in 24 straight days of work.

I forgot how sweet it is to ride steel on the road.

That bike is beautiful, but the hippie in me says: why in the hell did you drive that big truck to ride your road bike??

ditto on both points. the absurdity of driving a 4000 lb (or in this case, 7000 lb) piece of metal to pedal around 25 lbs of bicycle strikes me often.

ah you see I had a full load of furnature that I picked up and took over to My Mother in laws house before I took off for the ride

one 30 mile trip with the truck or 4 round trips with the volvo. truck was way more efficient
