The problem is it's still a Corvette. It looks like a Chevy truck inside. Nobody will mistake it for a Ferrari. Don't get me wrong...I love cars. I love fast cars. I don't have any issues with what the Corvette is, but it's never a car I would buy. Anything, for the most part, can be made fast. I've driven plenty of Corvettes and they don't even remotely compare to something like a Pcar or Ferrari.

While the build quality isn't the level of a Ferrari inside, the fact that you can:
A) Buy a used one for about $30k
B) Drive it 100k miles without major repairs
C) Get parts for it in about any town in the US

Is why I like them and own them. Will I even buy a Ferrari? Not likely. Would I like to? Sure. Would I rather commute 45 minutes in a Honda Civic or a Z06? I would say the Z06 would make the drive a little more tolerable. The price difference between a used Z06 and a Civic isn't $100k

Show me a Ferrari I can get 100k miles out of for $30k and I might change my mind. I have a lunch date, I'll post pics in the random pic thread later. :D

Honestly, some people deserve such a severe beating. Luckily, I have a feeling that nature will sort this out by it self.
We used to laugh about taking some of these up to Blackrock. We used to ride them on the stunts in the basement of the shop.
