SuperGT, DTM, WTCC, V8 Supercar.....all things American race fans will never comprehend
People say that about F1 and WRC as well. I'm a fan of pretty much all racing. If it has wheels (be it 2 or 4) and can be raced, I'm usually all for it. That being said, European people don't comprehend NASCAR. Now I'm not saying I am a fan of NASCAR but there is a strategy there and a method to the left-turns. I don't mind that a lot of American people don't understand SGT, DTM, WTCC. It keeps it from getting bastardized by the uber-consumer this country is. Next thing you know we'll be having the Jimmy Dean USTCC Champs hosted by Coca-Cola, Apple and Google...

i have no problem if other forms of racing gets the huge publicity/advertising that NASCAR receives here. thatll just make it more widespread and get more coverage and we'd all win. its really no different then what goes on with those other race series...those cars are just as plastered with sponsors as NASCAR car's are.
the followers of the V8 Supercar series in Australia are probably more nuts then NASCAR fans here....Ford vs. Chevy (Holden)....cant get more 'Merican then that
