Hey guys, it's been a while since I was on the monkey, had a little going on and havent really thought about the net.....
Anyway, I remember a loooooong time ago a few people were talking about how much they like Kerry Berry's 'Shag' artwork. So the other day I was in this really retro store (the kind with all the trinkets, furniture, clothes ect. from your childhood) called honeymoon bungalow. I noticed on the wall they had about 20 of her origonals. I asked about them and she told me that she was one of the 2 dealers of her art in the whole country. 'Cool' I thought and wished I had the $130 they were asking for one. fast forward 3 weeks and im in there looking at them again. I started talking to another woman who was working there about the art. I kept commenting on how much i liked them. Then i said I wished I could meet here. So she says "well that's interesting, because I'm kerry berry." I was totally taken back. So we talked for a while and she finaly told me that if I really wanted one that I could get one through her and not have to pay the absurd middleman markup. How awesome is that.....
