There's snow on the high peaks this morning! Trail Ridge Road and Mt. Evans were closed due to inclement weather.

It's cooooooooooming:

Hopefully I'll be able to get out twice as much as last year.

We're getting Aspen Classic passes, so that's 4 days in Aspen right off the bat.

And Silverton is in the works again for this year.

And the 3 & 4 year old should be able to get out on the slopes this year under their own power.

Maybe I'll get 3x as many days this year as last.

To get to my weekend ride i drove over Chinook Pass at 5243 or something elevation. Snow, but cleared of the road. Chinook Pass next to Rainier is one of the first passes to close in Warshington and the last one to open.
Not very many alpine bikey epics left this year i'm afraid, but what a good year it has been.... reminisce drooly

Well I'm really excited for ski season, since i live in the bay area, i can ski in tahoe and ride around my house. Does anyone ski Alpine Meadows, ill be getting a season pass there soon.
