Just playing the waiting game until Friday. Good trip to the gym yesterday. Still woke up in the middle of the night and felt wide awake.

Really got my eye on a town house. I have been thinking about renting too but is really is so nice to have your own place but then with less maintenance since its a townhouse. I really need a basement for my bikes which is difficult with an apartment.

Day care and school is closed today. I could try to go find some people or I could not.
I might go watch Moana 2 with elder child.

Starting to think that Madelyn has determined that Santa and the elf thing is made up, but she still loves the idea. She’s 7 and I assume kids at school are saying is aaaalllll a lie.

It was dark out for my early run too, and the trail was covered in black ice, which made for some slick going. I've got a Turkey Day 5K tomorrow, which is cool since I was injured last year and had to skip it. Thanksgiving is a pretty big day in the running community...tons of races on the calendar. It's always fun to participate. It's going to be raining for tomorrow's race.

Still working remote from a different country. Works surprisingly well. However, the weather is not any better than in Denmark right now, so only a little grvl riding for me. :hmm:

doing a 2-day, full-day, online retirement planning course paid for by my employer. I'm still 11-16 years from retirement. ugh... I know this stuff is important, but I'm pretty much as straightforward as it gets. On a fixed pension, I will reach my maximum amount for 30 years service when I turn 61 (need to have 30 years service and be 60 to receive full pension). Not really planning for early retirement... So far I've learned that I'd take a hit of 5% of max pension for every year before 60 I retire...

anyways... this is boooooooring.
