Well, today is August 8th, 2008... or 08/08/08

So what you may say... irate2:

Well, today the latest specail edition comes out for Stone Brewery!!

As some of you may know, they are doing a new limited edition brew every year from "01 to '12. Each one comes out on the cycle of 01/01/01, 02/02/02, 03/03/03 and so on up to December 12th 2012. Well today is the day for the '08's to come out.

Oh, and they are all high gravity beers that are designed to be consumed now, or saved for up to 10 years. I still have bottles from every year since 2004 (which was a nice Hefe with lots of esters and notes of banana ).

That sounds delicious. At the beer festival I went to in Mammoth recently, I hit up their area and tried all they brought. So good. Trying them all on tap was a really nice experience.

I also got to taste a special quad Belgian style brew that was amazing (not from stone).
