snap into it? He's basically on their extended team, we all get that, you don't.ooooooohhhhhhhh yeeeeeeeeahhhhhh pic
That must have been one hell of a pitch from the boys a Marzocchi.
Quoting myself for my future predicting capabilities!!!Shimano/Fox?
I doubt it's a huge improvement for them.probably the nicest spec'd and best performing bikes currently on the planet right there
this is not accurate. We haven't started on production changes yet. The existing V10 is one of the lightest bikes on the market, and it's strong, stiff and is good for years of beatings - daily riding by those of us without a team of mechanics to do rebuilds each evening. The word on the street is late summer.
didn't they claim on their fb page that they are available for preorder?enve said they should be available soon.
Thank you for the accurate update!this is not accurate. We haven't started on production changes yet. We develop the V10 with the team and believe in the racers spending race time on bone stock (pre-production, but based on what we're going to make for everyone else) before producing it for sale. All of 2010 and 2011 WC season was on stock frames. Right now we're working on the R&D side of things. Between last year's World Champs and the test session, we took ~100g out of the swingarm.
Today, the first R05 swingarm showed up. Its another 180g lighter than that! - and equal stiffness. If that survives testing, we'll use that for the first races and the ones in that nice little video from Italy will be discarded.
There are other changes planned for during this year's race season that will be revealed as they come along - but I guarantee you won't see a new frame for production until well after its been tested racing. Fortunately for us (but not for pit-gawkers) a lot of carbon changes are invisible
um, who cares?Does that mean SPS also is going FOX/Shimano?
"The Santa Cruz Syndicate is saying goodbye to SRAM after 8 seasons...We had our sponsors set up a few months ago, though, so the Steve Peat Syndicate will remain on SRAM & Rock Shox componentry through the 2012 race season!"Just wondering. Geez...
