My Type 2 Romantic partner is talking to me again. I am relieved. And nao for some hot bean water.
I too am up much earlier than I would like. A mix of snow/slush/ice last night and this morning. Internally struggling with taking the car vs a bike to work.
Good weekend of things and stuff.

Hey fam. I've got a busy WFH day in front of me. It's just me and the new dog. The older dog is an asshole about sharing toys, and since she is in day care today, the new dog has ALL the toys and is tearing around the house with them. She's having a blast.
Coffee & groover session done. DSO walk on hold as I'm waiting in line @ CVS for my covid & flu vaccines. Building something new up in the afternoon - Brown Santa says arriving soon...

Here. Working all week (ex-Thursday) but Friday should be slow. The next project on the kart, because it should be cold for a couple of weeks, will be to strip it down most of the way, clean & service it, and rebuild it. I will also be doing a tool check, to make sure that I have every tool needed to service it while at the track. I've ordered shadow foam for my toolboxes already.

first sub-freezing ride in to the new office. at least it was sunny.
finally got to see the oldest boy's mid-term report card last night. it was not good. required a sit-down chat with him. at least he feels shame. hopefully that's enough to motivate him to get off his (phucking) phone to do more work. I hope so, caus' I don't want to have to start imposing consequences. consequences suck for everyone, even those imposing them.
today is a PD day. while the oldest does homework, I will attempt to motivate my youngest to go for a ride. at least it's sunny.
