funny/entertaining column.

The thing about webstats tho, is that links spread and who outside of WA really cares about generic hometown news. I mean, I read about Denver, but do you?

I will click a link about a wierd/absurd/unusual story and those do get copy-and-pasted more than Paris Hilton.

Yah i agree the numbers are inflated for that very reason.

Yet at the same time it speaks of how easy it can be for media to slip to the gluttonous whims of it's readers/viewers. Perhaps at the expense of responsible journalism?

What does this connotate then? The supposed deterioration in this moral exempt reality tv world, or the sense of humor and crave for useless shocking information that permeates depending on how you look at it.

But the result is interest in relevant matter get's browsed over simply because it's just so damn boring.... Unfortunately creating more problems but at least giving fuel for everyone to cry and banter over.
