I know one friend that uses one of those snow-scooter skibike things though. He's an ex power-lifter and his doc has told him that's the only way he can do snow-sports like skiing. Not sure what the medical condition is, but he was successful in getting Mt. Bachelor to allow the skibike, so he can ski with his wife and kids. That's pretty cool.

I ride my fat bike on the slopes every season, its a blast. Mostly on the nordic trails at night where it doesn't bother anyone and before the groomer hits the trails but sometimes up on the hill when the area is closed.
