Witness: The Rehab Mobile.

If you haven't ridden an ASX in 6 inch mode with a 5 inch fork, you haven't ridden a bike.

I'll see you beyotches on the trails.

I had one of those bikes once, then I got a 7" fork and moved the swing link. Hoooraay I've ridden a bike.

Congrats on getting back on the bike, just remember you are bionic now so don't be afraid of doing what us mere mortals can't.

Congrats on getting back on the bike and tell me more about the AS-X in that configuration - Looks wicked! How much does it weigh set up like that??

I'd bet it's about 35-36. It's built with a semi DH kit, steel coil, oil fork (vs air). I've been riding an ASX with 95% the same setup (same everything, only diff stem/bars) Rides great. IT trails awesome, climbs great, descends great. DJing it's a little soft (susp) and long. IT does everything well. It's not the best at anything, but REALLY good at everything. HIGHLY suggest the setup.
The reason I asked is because that looks like a really nice heavy duty trail bike set up.....and then I also saw a photo from IB of an AS-X featuring a Fox Air shock and a Fox 36 in front and it looked really tasty. Moreso than a 575 even.

screw the 575... it's a long travel XC bike. The asx is a short travel DH bike.

Is your priority getting up the hill ( :dead: ) or pimp-slapping your way back down it? ( :) )
