I am having a party this weekend and will using my macbook for music. Itunes has a neat dj feature I am thinking of using. Is there any way to have itunes open and lock the rest of the computer? I want to make it so people can go to the music and nothing else. Anyone know how this is possible?

Make a dupe of your itunes library and stick it in Users/Shared go to Apple > System Preferences > Accounts > create a new account > parental controls > select Finder & System > Check "This user can only use these applications" > Select iTunes > Log in as new user > hold down CTRL when you start up iTunes and select your duped itunes library in Users/Shared > party.

since its an empty account, there is nothing to delete except your duped music.

install laptop lock so nobody walks off with your ish.
