Get some boots. Injuries are the most extreme from the peripherals (ie hands/feet/ankles get f'd in a wreck).
Speed safely, and keep it rubberside down. If you feel like going fast, go to the track. Get it out of your system somewhere safe.
Yep I concure.....go to the track. Then the only dummy is you. :D For street riding I perfer the the cruiser attitude. ;) But I would like to play on a track with a sport bike.

I play/get squid-like on my dirt bike. :) '04 Suzuki RM250...

Wear them anyways. Your most likely to fall within 5 miles of your house. Oh, and commuter style riding pants would be good if you like the skin on your legs. Have fun, I'm jealus until I'm 18, then hello super-moto.

Sorry to hear that. Motorcycles are fun but in most circumstances you can't legally use them properly without being fined. I question their purpose and expense. I suppose if your wealthy they are fun. Kind of like owning a ATV and not owning 10 mile square swath of land. Atleast where I live....
