Does anyone have an IXS Metis helmet? Any info?

very common helmet in the german bikeparks i went to this year.
Good styling, i asked about it too in the gondolas going up.
seems its a good fit for most, way cheaper then it looks, and feels.
Very IXS i guess, they are doing good things for people on a budget.
But as with all helmets try before you buy ? or at least make sure you can return it if you buy online
I don't know how much you can trust this:
But definitely sounds like try before you buy to me.
It's essentially the same helmet as the Fly Racing Default, just more expensive.
How does the sizing compare to a THE or TLD?
I'm not sure I trust that review. I had the THE and it was so close to my face that it rubbed on my chin. I've read this in every THE review I've read except theirs.
You will speak in techno and want to ride trains. Don't do it.
I had one on order for close to 6 months along with some knee pads and when we went to login to the site to check our shop order the website was no more and we never heard another word from IXS.
Must have been tough trying to ship to louevil ......
Any more info on the IXS helmets?
I'd steer clear - - ABS shell. CPSC but no ASTM, etc. certs.
Anyone have info how they fit in size compared to a TLD? I need a new helmet.
Aren't fly helmets just rebaged/more expensive THH helmets? That's what I've read. I think helmets are one of those things like tires and sunglasses, where everything is made by one mfg. and everyone else just slaps a logo on it.
For its price, a tld D2 can be had. As cheap as $120-150.
