adam, might need you to bring your truck as a 4th vehicle in the convoy. how many bikes/people can it carry. what kind of gas mileage do you think you get?

If the vehicles get crowded I can drive all the way out too, when we hook up around summerset I can take a dude or two, or any and all women; )
i can carry 3 riders (99 4 runner)
unloaded on the highway i get ~19-20mpg
i can carry 2 dh bikes
or 3~4 xc'ish bikes...3 safely 4 might be a bit sketch
i also have a roof rack from a car that might fit my truck, ill check that and get back to you

I definately will let who ever drives use my Hitch rack. You just have to have a 2 inch hitch. That will allow 2 more bikes.
STP's are the street/trail/park bike, brought up by Jeff Lenosky. They're real light and have super short chaintstays, I've always like they way the ride.ridetoofast said:

naw, i'm just planning on eating at whatever finer establishments cleveland has to offer. according to google maps, there are a bunch of restaurants nearby. (including Loser's Delicatessen ). i'm pretty sure we won't be allowed to cook at the hotel. and i'm planning to be too exhausted to think about cooking as well.
ray's was really designed for a bike like the stp, and vice versa. much more so than my bullit/shiver. it's a pretty tough frame, but aluminum won't stand up to impact damage like your buddy's trip to the ditch.
