Just to be clear, which party is the one that’s all about freedom and avoiding excessive government regulation?
Hmmm. Let’s see. Poor people with kids are already poor and won’t get rich off a “tax break.” But some people figured out that not having kids isn’t as expensive… So let’s punish them for not having kids or waiting to have kids until they’ve built some financial stability. The bonus is that if anyone is against our policy we can demonize them as being anti-child.

i wouldn't count on shapiro. given that PA is a battleground state and the fuckery that was attempted here in 2020 he's needed more at the state level than on a federal ticket. he's also a little green for VP, his term as governor is is roughly a year old. he was AG for my county prior to that. he's good and i like him, but i think there are better options right now.
