In a van.... down by the river
Boxing Day here. Mildly hungover although I slept surprisingly well after multiple Mojitos, a couple of bottles of Prosecco and several beers and vaporised THC. Had glazed ham, roast lamb, duck fat potatoes, green beans and asparagus for dinner, surrounded by pigs in blankets and various other snacks. Also about half a box of turkish delights. Wife woke me up with a glass of ice cold sparkling water, was much needed. Coffee then earned its way this morning for sure, after smoked salmon bagels. Nap time now? Maybe some more Prosecco?

I was busy napping and didn't get the rib roast in the oven until 4:30 so it's gonna be late.
I did a reverse sear rib roast this year. Do recommend. Almost perfect medim rare edge to edge.

The hurling of rocks is overstated, you just need a single plague corpse to splatter on the inside of the walls. Kind of an art to pick one fresh enough to survive launching and decomposed enough for a good distribution upon landing.
But OG special forces didn’t know that the plague could be spread from the dead.

They thought it was from the smell, hence the plague masks which were filled with flowers and other aromatics under the belief that if it smelled fine, you would be fine. Could have been effective it if was airborne.

That mountain of pork looks legit. I'll bring a gluten free bun for a torta. Fuck I haven't eaten a torta in like 16 years, since I went full glutard.

I used to love the tortas dipped in red sauce.
I had torta ahogada (dipped in red sauce) in Guadalajara, it was tasty but nothing wow. After 16 years you should risk it and have a torta.
