She says it weighs in at 24 lbs....
Pretty light. Those tires scare the crap out of me just looking at 'em... Give me an extra pound of rotating weight and some reliable traction any day over sketchy little bald tires like that!

I agree. Those just don't look like mt bike tires. Maybe they aren't actually meant for contact with dirt unless they forget to sweep the course before the race.

She kayaks, rock climbs, MTB and road races, runs, and she's on a kick-ass *hardcore* adventure racing team...
My GF was asking me what I like about her. I started listing all the stuff she does like jumping off waterfalls and camping and mtn biking.

ugh :dead: sorry guys. My brain is fried from looking at numbers all day and trying to fix an 18,000 item pricebook. I'll try to get back into it.

what size frame is that? could she have gone up a size and lost the steerer tube spacers and long seatpost? looks a bit small.
Probably didn't want the stretched TT or longer WB of a bigger size...

She says she'll keep the tires for now since she's used to them on her LiteSpeed... Keep in mind she races EXPERT in AR and MO so she knows her MTB schit..

Ask her how she likes that Fox fork, please. I just put one on my Burner and haven't had a chance to take it for a trail ride.

That is a sweet bike...One day I will have a Turner trail bike.

And for the tires, those pythons are excellent tires and provide excellent grip for having such shallow knobs. I've been running those for the past four years and wouldn't switch them out for anything. I'll leave the big tires for my downhill bike.

Sweet Flux! One of the managers at Supergo has a custom powdercoated one. BTW, Crank Brothers offers a upgrade program for those '02 egg beaters. I would highly recommend it!
