Sh!t... AR is MTB/kayak/rock climbing/4x4/fishing/hunting heaven... you probably have never been there have ya?
:stupid: I love it here in AR. You have to be in the "in group" to know where all the good rides are. And once your in it's amazing. I love AR but i love CO more

Actually here in Colorado Springs and most of the front range its sort of biseasonal throughout the winter. Half the time its in the 60s and perfect for riding and half the time its snowy and cold.

Hot looking bike and even hotter chick. :D

Check out what I was riding (in CO) just 2 days ago: http://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110567

And oh yeah, the very next day I was up snowboarding. Show me where in Arkansas you can do that back to back. :sneaky:

No really, I'm just messing with you. Arkansas is a really beautiful state and has a lot to offer for outdoor activities. I've been climbing at Sams Throne and floating the Buffalo River and Arkansas is gorgeous in the fall. You just have to watch out for the hunters...

And back on topic, that is one sweet ride!

Arkansas doesn't offer anything in the way of snow sports... however, to make up for it, winter in AR is whitewater kayak season.

Also, AR has some of the most beautiful lakes anywhere..

Well, it really wasn't a jab at Colorado or an attempt at a one up, pn...it was more of a joke...you can't REALLY go to the beach in Colorado cuz...there are NO BEACHES in Colorado...:D

Us here in California do not have the inferiority complex that a lot of other states have...we don't hate on other states for no reason...

No offense taken :thumb: I'm just a transplant anyway from Miss-ur-a.

Colorado has lots o lakes, though. So technically you CAN go to a beach, just not an OCEAN beach.

I'm claiming that Colorado has *no* lakes. Only glorified ponds and some E-coli infested reservoirs. I'm not sure why anyone would want to live here........

Those tires are great...for one or two rides. Once mine scuffed up, they turned into slicks :)
To those bashing the Pythons, in the hands of a capable rider, they're the best tires on the market. Learn to deal with drift and you will be incredibly fast. I refuse to run anything else (Except in muddy conditions...Tioga Red Phoenix then). However, the Pythons do wear out in about 3 months...sadly... :(

:stupid: for a race tire he is right. I don't run them now, but have always liked them very much.

I live in Fayetteville and I want to check her out.... I mean her Turner.

For all you arkansas bashers, Come to the state and then talk smack, Barring the rednecks and meth headz, Its by far one of the most beautiful states in the country. It is a outdoorsman's mecca, Some of the best trail in the country can be found around here, just because its not in BIKE MAG's HOTTEST trails doesn't mean its not hot ****. Plus in AR you can actually get AWAY when you ride instead of places like Fruita where you see cardcarrying MTBERS!! everywhere and you feel the same as you would riding along a public park path. CO def is more civilized but the beauty here is just as nice except on a smaller scale. Besides the first HALF of CO absolutaly sucks ass. Im not trying to make this a state war but I get real sick of lame ass people stereotyping arkansas just because of its REP. Come here and see the sites and you wont be unpleased. We may have the most rednecks and one of the worst literacy rates of the country but at least were not contributing 30000x more to the deconstruction of the planet the way California and other West coast states are.

rant over..

Knowing how many black people there are in Little Rock, and knowing that I have never met any racists from AR, I am just completely confused. You sure you're not thinking of Montreal???

Well maybe not Littlerock but I meant more by where my grand rents lived. There are NO black ppl or Jewish people where they lived, can't remember the name. Anyways, it was cause we spent some time with some guys that were locals, not even hicks, these guys where like upper class. They kept insulting jews and black people in most of what they said. It was pretty messed cause it would be one thing if I knew them well but to jump right into racism, that was just scary.

Yes, yes there are racist in these here parts. Madison/Newton Counties are meth/KKK havens and don't even mention Harrison, AR. My old Jr. High got BANNED from playing them because of there racial remarks and threats to our black players.

My girlfriend lived in Hot Springs for about 4 years. She said it was the most inbred, racist piece of ass she'd ever walked on. meh. I have an aunt and uncle in Jefferson City, maybe I'll go down and check out AR next time I'm there.
