does jiminy peak rent out armor/full-face helmets? it did not say so on the site.

Hmmm.........I can't remember - the rental shop looked pretty sparse when I went there the Sunday after Pedrosfest. Give em a call - that's probably the best way to find out.
as far as i know they do not -- i've only seen rentals with regular helmets. they have body armor for sale, but again not for rent. those things are a little hard to keep clean and un-germified. they do have some pretty rad rental DH bikes (Diamondback somethorothers) that are cool. hope this is useful!
