Hey guys I have a Joe Blow 2 pump and lately the gauge seems like it is way off. I casually run my tires pretty hard but I don't remember having to pump them to 60 before there was no play in the tire.

Anybody else have gauge issues with these pumps before? I checked my tires with another pump gauge and said I was more in the 45 range so is there something wrong with the gauge or should I try cleaning out the internals.

I've never used two floor pumps that give me the same squish-in-hand correlated to measured pressure. My joe blow at 35 happy PSI is like 40 psi on woody's pump and 20 psi on another dude's pump.

I know where on my pump my tires are happy, so on other people's i just grab and then decide. I don't know if there's any way to adjust, but if you need a specific PSI I'd carry a calibrated gauge around with you.
