As far as Kerry riding, I'm not surprised at all that it's on a road bike...not that there's anything wrong with that.

seems like he likes to have fun and vacation time, more than even W can manage. Would he be taking regular ski, weight-board, and cycling trips after he is elected? I doubt it. this is just an effort to court the health conscious and outdoorsy states like colorado, and the weight boarding crowd...I think to the public skiing and such are the new golf, IMHO

Kerry rides like Bush used to run... they both love their activity. Bush took up mtb cuz he's knee(s) are bothering him.

And Kerry's a snowboarder, so he's obviously not courting the skier vote.
