Judge lets off rapist of girl, 10
A JUDGE spared a man who raped a girl of ten in a park — because she wore a “provocative” frilly bra and thong.

Window cleaner Keith Fenn, 25 — who could have got life in jail — will be free in just FOUR MONTHS after admitting twice having sex with the child.

Judge Julian Hall decided to be lenient because the girl “didn’t look 10”.

He caused fury earlier this year by freeing another paedophile, telling him to buy his six-year-old victim a new bicycle.

The judge referred to the 10-year-old as a “young woman”, and called her “very disturbed, very needy and sexually precocious”.

He told Oxford Crown Court: “She liked to dress provocatively. She was 10. She’d been in care since she was four.

“Did she look 10? Certainly not. She looked 16.”

Fenn, of Oxford, got two years’ jail but will soon be free because of time spent awaiting sentence. Accomplice Darren Wright, 34, of Henley-on-Thames walked free after getting just nine months.

Last night, campaigner Dr Michele Elliott of children’s charity Kidscape called the sentences “beyond pathetic”.

The NSPCC added: “There’s no excuse.”
think i'll start using the "but she looked 16" excuse

it's simple, that judge is a paedofile.
don't think so.
if you diggin on some 16yo looking skank, i think you're labeled something less offensive. i forget the term, but ex-rep foley was/is this.

my ex was "all meat & no potatoes", as well as no curves. that is to say, she looked rather underdeveloped (save for her height). with that, could the case be made i'm borderline paedo?

("only if she were british" being the obvious, yet irrelevant, response.)

Jesus christ, the way the article reads ("accomplice" "in the park") this wasn't even statuatory rape (which is child abuse, but at least consensual), this was forceful rape by two men. Even if she were an adult that should be years in prison. What the ****!?!

edit: fine, Stinkle.

... this wasn't even statuatory rape (which is horrific child abuse, but at least consensual),
just a nit, but isn't horrific child abuse something like what happened to penny on good times with an iron? i'm just not seeing how law defines 'horrific'.

unless of course he smurfed her in the smurf with his smurf stick until she was blue in the face.

This case is a perfect example of how PSAs saying, "Ask for proof of age before asking for consent."

Seriously, if a girl does look much older, then the only way to know is asking for ID.

I agree that a child is unable to give sexual consent (statutory rape), but if she really does look legal age, then that becomes a problem, hence, ID.

can't you just make the leap that if you see a tramp stamp you're free & clear?

Feeling the lag
For the sake of a balanced lynch mob, here are the next few lines:

'They said the judge stated that doctors who examined the girl believed she was in her mid-teens and she was treated by most people as older than her actual age.

The judge gave Fenn concurrent two-year and 18-month sentences, but he will be free in eight weeks after serving eight months in prison awaiting sentence.

Wright is already free as Judge Hall had already given him a nine-month sentence for inciting the girl to perform a sex act.'

So while you cannot condone sex with an underage girl, if the girl in question really did appear to be in her mid-teens and the act was consensual the perp is stupid rather than particularly dangerous.

pedofiles should receive the death penalty.
what about non-practising [is that how it's spelt?] paedos?

point is, i don't see a high rate of recovery from this illness, and if taking your advice, are we not merely treating the symptom? seems shortsighted, however just.
