You might mess up the little o rings on both side of the banjo fitting or you might get leak if you loosen everything enough to not risk damaging the o rings. This is speculation but I know what is going on in there and can see this happening. I would loosen the bolt a little at a time until you can rotate the fitting with just slight resistance so you don't totally break the seal. Whats the worst that could happen... you need to bleed them, not that horrible. Give it a try.
